Inside Textile R&D: The Rise of Intelligent Fabrics
Share
From Everlon to climate-adaptive fibers, fabric innovation is reshaping what’s possible.
The future of textiles is here—and it stretches, breathes, and adapts. At Dukaan Dost, we’re seeing massive interest in intelligent fabrics designed to work harder for end consumers. Our in-house R&D teams in India and China have been working on ultra-lightweight constructions, anti-static finishes, and breathable weaves that still maintain structure.
Fabrics like Everlon are a prime example—low GSM, high density, and engineered for everything from dry-fit sportswear to elevated basics. We’ve also been exploring moisture-activated prints, high-recovery stretch materials, and fabrics that hold color even after 50+ washes.
The goal? Help brands and manufacturers offer more with less. Fewer raw materials. Fewer processing steps. But more performance. That’s the textile innovation model we’re betting on—and building with.
